- I was wondering about the effects of mixing tires on a car. A friend has
- Eagle GT+4's, but only the front two need replacing. I am pushing her to
- replace them with something different, because the GT+4's are too expensive.
- The car is FWD, BTW. Is there any particular danger in having different
- tires in front and rear?
-
- One of her back tires is almost brand new, while the other is getting
- near replacement time. What about mixing left-to-right? That sounds more
- dangerous to me, but otherwise she will have to either get another Eagle
- to replace the worn one, or waste a nearly new tire and replace both the
- rears. Comments?
