  12. I was at the Auto Museum in Brookline MA yesterday for the European
  13. Car show (lots of gorgeous cars!) and wandered through the exhibits
  14. after I'd soaked up enough leather fumes.

  16. The one car in the exhibit that really caught my eye was a 1908
  17. electric car.  I've already forgotten the name of the car, but not its
  18. statistics -- a 40mi range at 20mph.

  20. One of the things that came to mind while I was looking at the exhibit
  21. is that electric cars really haven't improved all that much in
  22. seventy-five years compared to their oil-powered counterparts.  This
  23. doesn't bode well for ZEV's IMHO.

  25. I recommend the Auto Museum if you're near Boston (it's at Larz
  26. Anderson Park in Brookline and is open weekends in the summer).  It's
  27. not huge but there are some gems in their collection and it's well
  28. worth the $4 admission.
