- I was at the Auto Museum in Brookline MA yesterday for the European
- Car show (lots of gorgeous cars!) and wandered through the exhibits
- after I'd soaked up enough leather fumes.
-
- The one car in the exhibit that really caught my eye was a 1908
- electric car. I've already forgotten the name of the car, but not its
- statistics -- a 40mi range at 20mph.
-
- One of the things that came to mind while I was looking at the exhibit
- is that electric cars really haven't improved all that much in
- seventy-five years compared to their oil-powered counterparts. This
- doesn't bode well for ZEV's IMHO.
-
- I recommend the Auto Museum if you're near Boston (it's at Larz
- Anderson Park in Brookline and is open weekends in the summer). It's
- not huge but there are some gems in their collection and it's well
- worth the $4 admission.
-
- FYI,
