  27. I recently put a set of Yokohama A378's on both my CRX and MR2.  They have
  28. performed great on the Honda -- very responsive to steering inputs, great 
  29. roadholding, and impressive wet weather traction, but they have been very
  30. poor on the MR2:  handling is squirrely, roadholding is poor, and wet
  31. weather traction is much worse than on the CRX.  Before these purchases
  32. the MR2 was out-performing the CRX in every category.  I have since learned
  33. that the rounded tread design of the 378 is quite unsuitable for a rear-
  34. wheel-drive layout like the MR2.  Mike definitely needs a square tread
  35. on his MR2 -- the Dunlops have probably been doing well for him, and
  36. any Pirelli would be a good choice (I'm trading my MR2's Yokos for Pirelli
  37. P500's next week).

  39. Yokohama's more costly models may have square designs that Mike should look
  40. into; in general I've been really impressed with Yokohama, but anything 
  41. more than the 378 is out of my price range. :-)
