- I need a pair of tires for the rear of my '85 MR2. The size is 185/60hr-14
- I currently have 2 Yoko 352's up front and 2 bold Dunlops on the back.
- The car is driven on the street, although I'm looking forward to my first
- Auto-X in August.
- My options include Yoko 352 (discontinued, can be bought for only $40 mail
- order, if still available); Yoko 509 (about $60), or new Yoko A378 ($53).
- Other possibilities are Dunlop D60/M2 ($65) or new D60/A2 ($55?). But I've had
- a few Dunlops and they seem to wear too fast without benefiting handling.
- I don't consider Firestone, Michelin, Bridgestone, Goodyear for various
- reasons. And I can't afford BFG Comp/TA HR4 :-(
- My main concern is dry/wet handling. I do have snow tires for winter.
- So, what's the verdict? Buy 352's while they're cheap? Or go with 509's?
- Or something compleately different? :-)
- Thanks in advance. Mike.S
