  21. I tried it on my 1977 Pontiac with silver paint, and I am pretty happy
  22. with the results.  If you have dead paint to begin with, then the
  23. results are pretty good.  I had to remove all of the oxidized paint
  24. first.  However, I get this feeling that if your paint is in half way
  25. decent shape to begin with, these color matching products would do more
  26. harm than good.  Also, I believe you can't use them with clear coat
  27. paint.  Save these products for a last resort.
