- I tried it on my 1977 Pontiac with silver paint, and I am pretty happy
- with the results. If you have dead paint to begin with, then the
- results are pretty good. I had to remove all of the oxidized paint
- first. However, I get this feeling that if your paint is in half way
- decent shape to begin with, these color matching products would do more
- harm than good. Also, I believe you can't use them with clear coat
- paint. Save these products for a last resort.
