  14.    I've got a 2 year old sony CDP-590 CD player that suddenly stopped
  15. working.  No matter what I do it reports "no disc" on the display
  16. and refuses to play.   I've called around and getting it repaired
  17. seems like it could cost almost as much as buying a new one.   Does
  18. anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?  Could it be something
  19. minor like a sensor used to detect the presence of a CD?  Thanks...
