  11. I am considering buying the technics GX910 receiver. It received
  12. a favorable review in the July issue of Audio magazine. It appears
  13. to have all of the features I want and is available for about $650
  14. mail order.  A sales person I talked to said I should purchase a
  15. more expensive Onkyo receiver instead because it uses discrete
  16. logic instead of IC's. I had a hard time hearing any differences
  17. between the two because of backround noise in the store. The GX910
  18. was warmer, but it had a built in fan.  I want a good prologic
  19. receiver that will last without spending more than $700. Has anyone
  20. out there purhased the GX910? Is discrete logic a real advanatage
  21. or just an excuse to raise the price?
