- I have a Carver CT-17 preamp tuner and a TFM-25 amp driving
- some really big Klipsch speakers. The preamp has built-in
- surround sound capabilities to run 5 speakers. ( 2 main front,
- 2 rear and 1 center dialogue channel) I am about ready to
- expand the system to it's full surround sound glory and I need
- some info about amps. My main amp is 2 channels (225 watts per chan)
- and drives the mains up front. Now I need amps to drive the
- rear and center channel. A while back I saw a Carver 3-channel amp
- suited for this purpose, but it was about $650 which I thought was
- a little much. Should I go with a 3-channel amp or get 2 amps and
- bridge one into mono for the center channel? Are there other good
- 3-channel amps that anyone would care to recommend?

- All replies are most welcome.
