  26. This depends on which country he beams down to. Here in Sweden, he would
  27. admittedly be "an animal", but our hunting laws explicitly forbids the
  28. hunting of all animals, except specified species, and at specified times.
  29. (I think it is the reverse in the UK and USA?)
  30. Wild animals also have the same protection against cruelty as domestic ones.

  36. We actually had a cyborg here, a while. This was a man with an artificial
  37. heart, and it was during the time death was defined as the lack of a
  38. working heart, so yes, he was legally dead. The law was changed shortly
  39. afterwards, now it is concerned with brain activity.
