  19. 9 = Normal price
  20. 8 = Advertized special
  21. 7 = Unadvertized special
  22. 6 = Floor sample reduced price
  23. 5 = Non-returnable closeout price
  24. The book you normally buy for $4.99 might go on a special sale for $3.48 if
  25. there's an ad, or for $3.47 if it's just marked down on the shelves.  If you
  26. try to return a VCR that you bought for $149.95, the receipt shows that you
  27. made the purchase on a non-refundable basis.
