- This seems to be a popular philosophy today -- everything should be done
- to maximize our lifespan which means that any activity that could cause
- premature death should be strongly discouraged or banned.
-
- I prefer to maximize my enjoyment of life. I fully intend to continue
- eating foods that are loaded with saturated fat, going on wilderness canoe
- trips, going outside without a layer of SPF 30 lotion and occasionally
- cycling without a helmet if I forget to put it on or simply don't feel
- like wearing it.
