  14. While running nntp version 1.5.11 on a Sun IPC, SunOS 4.1.1, users 
  15. using NetNews for the MacIntosh from an outside network appear to 
  16. be able to see restricted groups (but not access them). This
  17. is not true of users running any of the UNIX Newsreaders or NetNews
  18. on the local network, and we haven't had the opportunity to test
  19. access by UNIX systems on the remote network. Any ideas why 
  20. nntp_access allows this. I assumed setting the default entry to
  21. the following would cover anyone not specified afterward:

  25. No, we're not trying to censor anything--just trying to keep things
  26. uncensored by avoiding questions from certain MAC-based supervisors
  27. who may have different ideas on what's appropriate on a network.
