  14.     I have a 1990 Toyota Corolla, and it's about time for me to give
  15. it its 15,000 mile checkup.  The logical place for me to take it to get
  16. its maintenance done would be a Toyota dealer, but I've heard really bad
  17. things about most of the Toyota dealers within 128, and my one
  18. interaction with a local Toyota dealer has made even more suspicious.

  20.     However, if I go to an independent garage, I wonder if they'll
  21. have the special diagnostic tools to really be able to check out my car.
  22. Does anyone have any recommendations for good car mechanics which have
  23. been both (a) honest and (b) can do solid, competent work on Toyotas?
