  14.     As my big car decision, I've decided to buy a VW Golf,
  15. probably '89, with about 40K miles on it.  I've done all my homework
  16. on bluebook values and Consumer Reports, and I like my brother's GTI
  17. a lot (which hasn't given him a lick of mechanical trouble in the
  18. couple years he's owned it, even though it sat idle for 7 mos. while
  19. he was in Saudi Arabia and got driven back and forth from Kentucky a
  20. bunch of times).

  22.     Does anybody have any advice on what dealerships are
  23. relatively honest and which ones are To Be Avoided?  I can look at the
  24. BBN list when I want a good mechanic.. when are they going to add
  25. dealerships to it :-)?
