  12. I've done a bit of reading lately, and there is disagreement
  13. regarding multiple submissions.  It seems logical to me to 
  14. send copies to at least a few publishers to start, since I
  15. hear it may be necessary to send a manuscript to a couple
  16. dozen (or more) places before anyone shows interest, yet I
  17. hear that publishers are less likely to read a multiple
  18. submission!  So what do I do?
