- An anti-Mafia official in Palermo was said to have been killed
- by a "remote-controlled car bomb." The photo of the aftermath
- published in the NY TImes on Monday shows three cars clustered
- together and cordoned off from a crowd of viewers. The caption
- says, in part, "The powerful explosion also smashed these
- nearby cars."
-
- In the foreground are two sedans that suffered damage that
- is highly implausible, in the context. Both have had their
- roofs dented in a manner that could only have happened as a
- result of heavy objects falling on them, squarely in their centers.
- Anyone want to make up a story to explain it?
