  23.  IMHO, too many physicians specialize and if you cannot be pigeonholed
  24.  right into their field of expertise, they say they can't help you and
  25.  send you to another "expert" who, in turn, passes you off to another.
  26.  This is true especially in those difficult to diagnose pains or
  27.  illnesses. If you do not fit the specifics precisely, doctors feel they
  28.  may be going out on a limb and subjecting themselves to litigation if
  29.  they were to prescribe some drug say that could help but may have some
  30.  very adverse side effects. It is called "passing the buck".
  31.  Unfortunately the "buck" is human which is something they don't take
  32.  time to train these physicians during the long time they have them in
  33.  medical school.

  35.  Unfortunate also, is that much like our government and all its
  36.  specialists comes the problems of bureaucratic red tape and we end up
  37.  having this huge conglomeration of specialists who are paralyzed by the
  38.  very medical bureaucracy that created them and find they can adequately
  39.  serve nobody.
