- Just noticed in the TV Guide that NBC will be closed captioning
-
- its entire broadcast of the 1992 Summer games. Even though
- parts of the Games have been closed captioned since 1984,
- only this past Winter Olympics (by CBS) and these games
- will be entirely captioned.
-
- This will also be the first Olympics where there will be
- three additional cable channels where you can watch every event
- of the Olympics (for a fee, around here, it's $140 or so).
- I have no idea of whether these extra channels will be closed
- captioned.
