  12.     I feel obligated to respond to this article.  My posting on
  13. the Tape Drive I had for sale was $250/OBO.  I received an offer of
  14. $275 which was the best offer. After I received this offer, I gave
  15. mwolf@uhasun.hardford.edu a chance to match this bid.  I thought
  16. things would end here but one of co-workers found out I was selling
  17. the drive and made a better offer.  mwolf@uhasun.hardford.edu had
  18. previous stated that if the price went higher then his offer was off
  19. and so I sent him e-mail to this effect.  Another person had made a
  20. similar offer and I also informed him via e-mail that I was selling
  21. the drive locally. I have been up front with mwolf (ie. I could have
  22. just ignored his original offer) so I don't feel that this is flame
  23. justified.
