  13. Quite simply this is the deal...
  14. The aforementioned bobs@aplcen.apl.jhu.edu posted a letter 
  15. to misc.forsale.computers a bit back detailing an Archive
  16. tape drive for $250 that he wanted to sell.  Well, 
  17. considering the price i accepted quickly.  Then came the 
  18. first problem.  Soon after i accepted the deal Bob mailed me
  19. a note saying that $250 had changed to $275.  It was sleazy
  20. but still a good deal, so i accepted. (again) then came his
  21. final note detailing how he was going to break our agreement
  22. once again.

  43. drive and made an offer I am going to accept.

  47. Well, there you go.  I know i am biased for having been 
  48. burnt, however i think that the unspoken code which sets 
  49. standards for netnews transactions would be prohibitive of
  50. such actions so obviously lacking of any ethic.
