  14. I want to sell my PS/2, but first I want to find out how much I can get
  15. for the thing, because if I can't get enough, I won't sell it.  Here's
  16. the scoop:

  18. It's a PS/2 model 80-071, and its two years old.  Its been with me here
  19. at CMU for my first two years of college.
  20.  
  21. It's a 386DX, 16 MHz
  22.  
  23. It has a 70 meg ESDI harddrive and controller.  I don't know the exact 
  24. ratings of this drive, but I believe its fairly fast. 
  25.  
  26. It has 2 megs of memory, all on the motherboard.
  27.  
  28. It has VGA on the motherboard.
  29.  
  30. It has 8 Micro-Channell slots (one of which is taken by the harddrive
  31. controller)
  32.  
  33. It will come with DOS 5.0, and thats it, in terms of software.
  34.  
  35. It is possible that I'll sell it with my 8515 monitor, which is a really
  36. nice 14-inch monitor.  The monitor supports XGA and 8514 if you want to
  37. get a better video card.

  39. It has one serial port and one parallel port, and most likely it will
  40. come with a PS/2 mouse, and full-size IBM keyboard.

  42. I would like to get $1700 without the monitor, $2200 with the monitor
  43. (plus any shipping charges, if you're not near Pittsburgh).  But, I 
  44. am open to bidding, and other reasonable offers.  If you're interested,
