  24. This is a World War II submarine simultaion.  The emphasis is on historic
  25. realism, although you can relax some of the historic paramaters.  You can
  26. start playing at anytime during the war and even experience historically
  27. correct torpedos that start out with some bugs, and get better over time.

  29. I only played this game once in training, and once for real, so I can't
  30. comment on it much.  It looks like it could be fun, but it also seems
  31. that the realism could bog you down with the cycle of - poping up to the 
  32. surface, shoot, dive and evade.  This game has been sitting on my shelf for
  33. over a month now, and I just don't seem to find time for it (I gravitate more
  34. toward role-playing and action/adventure), so I guess I better sell it.

  36. The overhead view lets you cruise at faster than real time until you come
  37. close to enemies, so you can burn off many days of simulation time getting to 
  38. you target in just a few seconds.  The keyboard overlay is nice, and I didn't 
  39. mind much not having a mouse.  The manual looks like other MicroProse (F117,
  40. Gunship 2000) manual and is 120+ pages.  I can't tell you how good the content
  41. is since I didn't play long enough to really dig, but about half is dedicated
  42. to Sub strategy, Tactics, and some historical stuff.
