- I've got a 60MB Archive tape drive for sale. The drive itself actually
- uses a QIC36 interface which is then connected to a Emulex board which
- converts from SCSI to QIC36. It's an internal drive. You'd need room
- to place the converter somewhere. I've got four screws that act like
- legs and I had room underneath my drive bay to put it. I've had no
- problems with it. It should work fine on most Unix machines. (I think
- it came out of a Sun Shoebox.) I've used it on an Amiga for about a
- year without any problems. I have no idea if they work on DOS machines.
- You can buy an external case from DC-Drives that holds two 5 1/4" HH
- drives that also have room for a slot below.
-
- BTW, I'm selling it because I'm trying to afford a DAT drive. (OK, so
- I've got a long ways to go. :-)
-
-
- I also have 17 USED DC300XLP tapes. These are capable of storing 45MB
- with 60MB tape drives. They CAN NOT be written to by 150MB drives
- (although you can read them from 150MB drives).
