- Hello all,
-
- I want to sell my PS/2, but first I want to find out how much I can get
- for the thing, because if I can't get enough, I won't sell it. Here's
- the scoop:
-
- It's a PS/2 model 80-071, and its two years old. Its been with me here
- at CMU for my first two years of college.
-
- It's a 386DX, 16 MHz
-
- It has a 70 meg ESDI harddrive. I don't know the exact ratings of this
- drive, but I believe its fairly fast.
-
- It has 2 megs of memory, all on the motherboard.
-
- It has VGA on the motherboard.
-
- It has 8 Micro-Channell slots (one of which is taken by the harddrive
- controller)
-
- It will come with DOS 5.0, and thats it, in terms of software.
-
- It is possible that I'll sell it with my 8515 monitor, which is a really
- nice 14-inch monitor. The monitor supports XGA and 8514 if you want to
- get a better video card.
-
- It has one serial port and one parallel port, and most likely it will
- come with a PS/2 mouse, and full-size IBM keyboard.
-
- I would like to get $1700 without the monitor, $2200 with the monitor
- (plus any shipping charges). But, I am open to bidding, and other
- reasonable offers. If you're interested, mail sl31@andrew.cmu.edu.
- Thanks, and happy shopping.
