- I have a Grid 1810 Notebook computer for sale. I am selling it because I need
- cash. It has been a good little computer and I have only had it about 6 mos.
- (I bought it new in February or March.)
-
- The specifications are as follows.
-
- Grid 1810 Notebook
- V20 processor (10Mhz XT )
- 20 Meg hardrive (removable)
- 1 meg memory with memory manager
- EGA Monochrome display
- Built in 2400/MNP-5 modem
- 1 serial port / 1 parallel port
- 1 battery and 1 external power supply
- 1 Null modem cable and Built in Laplink Plus
- DOS 3.3 (In rom and on Harddrive)
-
- The version of DOS on this machine is put out by Grid and has special
- power amd memory management features.
-
- I love this little machine for word processing and remote access to larger
- systems. The battery lasts about 2 hours, and I have seen extra batteries,
- extra harddisks, and other periphs for sale in Computer Shopper.
-
- My only complaint about this machine would be that I did not purchase the
- external floppy for it when I got it. You have to use Laplink or some other
- package to get data to/from the harddrive. External floppies are available
- from serveral sources either designed specifically for the Grid or for use
- on the Parallel port.
-
- The machine is in excellent condition with one minor exception. The latch
- for removing the harddrive is broken off, so if you buy extra harddrives for
- it, you may be able to turn the latch with a screwdriver, or take it apart
- and fix the latch.
-
- PRICE: $300 (all reasonable offers will be considered.)
- SHIPPING: Buyer pays shipping (I prefer UPS COD because its close to my
- house)
-
- If you look around, this usually sells for about 400 to 450.
