  37. I doubt this header fix will help much. Most sellers here are first-time  
  38. posters to this group, I assume, but perhaps they at least know the general  
  39. conventions of the net. They won't know these header conventions, even if they  
  40. are "power" news-readers. The multiple group approach is the only  
  41. self-documenting one. Trust me, I'm a tech writer...

  43. It's true a split might not help, because some posters are ignorant of the ways  
  44. of the entire net (like those who post cars for sale in this group), but it  
  45. would help for the net-wise.

  47. I vote for a split in the group by platform (mac, ibm-compatible, amiga, etc.)  
  48. and by type (disk, cpu, misc, printer, modem).
