  12. Greetings everyone.  I am considering buying a CD player but I don't
  13. have any experience with them.  I hope the more experience readers
  14. can give me some general/specific advice.  I have the following questions:

  16. 1. Is a discman worth considering (in terms of convenience, price,
  17.    reliability, durability)?
  18. 2. Do CD players have speed problems like cassette players sometimes do
  19.    (e.g. playing too fast or too slow)?
  20. 3. What is your experience with portable cassettes with CD players?
  21.    Do you think the ones around US$200 are generally of decent quality?
  22. 4. Is there any make/model that you would recommend or recommend against?
