- This exact same problem happened to me; I have multiple TVs and it only
- happened to one of them. I thought maybe the picture tube was going bad
- (it's an RCA about nine years old), and was going to call the repair
- service, when I decided to check the rat's maze of coax I have connecting
- the TV to the VHS VCR to the Beta VCR to the Cable to a selector box, etc.
- Sure enough, one coax, when touched, blanked out the screen. I tightened
- it and haven't had a problem since....
-
- I know you said you checked your wires, but CHECK them thoroughly - it's
- cheaper to replace them then part of your Sony...
