- I was recently informed by my dentist that I am developing tiny pits near
- the center of four of my teeth. He recommends that I get my teeth sealed
- by something called Delton which was developed by Johnson & Johnson. He
- described it as a plastic substance which will fill the pores on the tops
- of my teeth (what are those things called... molars?). The process will
- cost $25/tooth or $125 for the whole mouth.
-
- My questions:
- 1) Is this process safe? My dentist says so, but I'd like some
- independent confirmation of this.
- 2) Is this cost reasonable?
- 3) Has anyone had this work done on them as an adult? The brochure
- my dentist gave me indicates that this procedure is targeted
- towards children...
