  13. Please, PLEASE don't try recharging the A/C yourself! Take it to a
  14. shop that has the equipment to recycle the Freon.

  16. Freon is a chlorofluorocarbon (CFC), and damages the ozone layer. If
  17. that goes, we're all in for a healthy dose of hard ultraviolet
  18. radiation. Then we'll have to either risk getting skin cancer and
  19. cataracts, or have to forget about going outdoors anymore.

  21. Antarctica has already lost its ozone layer. I heard about a fellow
  22. who was with an Antarctic expedition recently, who spent ONE DAY
  23. outdoors without sunblock. He got severe facial burns and will
  24. probably be disfigured for life.

  26. Releasing Freon into the air is equivalent to throwing waste oil down
  27. the storm sewers. Please respect the environment.
