- Salt and sugars are naturally occurring substances within
- the human body; MSG is not. In reasonable quantities,
- salts and sugars pose no harm to the body. MSG is a highly
- concentrated substance derived from a natural
- substance. Hot peppers, spices, etc have inherent taste;
- MSG does not, it just makes your tongue swollen.
