- That's great that you've had no problem. I've had nothing but
- problems with my Sony equipment, and I'm not even hard on the
- stuff! I have a portable CD player that will only play if you
- put a very heavy brick on top of it, and a five-CD carousel
- player (also Sony -- you think I'd have learned my lesson!) that
- frequently gets jammed and won't drop a CD into the chamber to
- play.

- I haven't bothered to have either one fixed at this point; I
- don't really have the money. Each component performed just fine
- until immediately after the one-year warranty expired. Then -- BAM.

- Other friends of mine have had lots of trouble with the Sony
- portable CD players; I haven't heard anything about the five-
- carousel players.
