- Thanks to Ahmed for pointing out one of the most common
- misconceptions about "toll-free" numbers. They are only free to
- the CALLING party. The costs to the person OWNING the number can
- range from pennies/minute to a few dollars/minute from overseas.

- problems, as you need to be able to dial to the providing
- carrier's Point Of Presence--and in some instances you will be
- charged (by the local Telco) for the connection between you and
- that POP.

- Carrier and local telco's to pass along the "local" charges as
