  29. An excellent book.  Another one that I have found very useful is
  30. _The_user's_DIRECTORY_of_Computer_Networks by Tracy L. LaQuey.  Its
  31. main function is to be a directory of computers that are hooked to
  32. networks.  Much of this info can be found somewhere on the net, if you
  33. know where to look.  But it is very convenient to have it in one
  34. place.  It also has a good deal of info on how the network is set up
  35. administratively.  Before I got it, I always wondered who was paying
  36. for all of this.  It gives the political setup of many individual
  37. nets, as well as their interconnection to other nets.

  39. Note, both books are by Digital Press, and the authors wrote the
  40. forwards for each other's book.  They compliment each other well (in
  41. several senses of the word).
