- A few posts back was a message about the use of televisions in the classroom.
- Whittle Communications has introduced "Channel One" into several classrooms
- around the nation. Now when you send your kids to school, they can watch
- tv programming, complete with commercials.
-
- If you would like to send a letter of protest to Pepsi-Cola over their
- decision to advertise in America's classrooms, write:
-
- Pepsi-Cola Consumer Affairs
- 2600 Michelson, Suite 1700
- Irvine, California 92715
-
- Let them know that students watch enough television at home, that
- television should not be allowed to replace a real teacher, and that
- you will not purchase or recommend Pepsi products as long as they
- advertise on Whittle's Channel One.
