  23. The GNU Fortran compiler is nearing alpha test (as mentioned in the June 1992
  24. GNUS Bulletin, or whatever it's called).  So it is not available yet.
  25. Announcements concerning _beta_ releases will likely be made far and wide
  26. on the network, but we will avoid overly publicizing alpha-related
  27. announcements by sending status reports and such to a GNU Fortran mailing
  28. list.  If you want this kind of info, ask to be put on the list by sending
