- I am having great difficulty compiling gcc 2-1 on an ICL DRS6000. This
- machine has a sun SPARC inside it and is running UNIX System V Release 4. I
- have tried compiling using the System V makefiles and the BSD ones wiithout
- any joy.
-
- I haved ensured that /usr/ucb is after /usr/bin in my PATH and that I am
- including the BSD libraries where necessary.
-
- Can anyone shed any light on where I am going wrong or anything that I can do
- to get it to work.
-
- Thanks in advance
-

- Stuart
-
- PS. This is the first installation of gcc on site so cannot use gcc itself to
- compile the new release.
