  12. I am having great difficulty compiling gcc 2-1 on an ICL DRS6000.  This
  13. machine has a sun SPARC inside it and is running UNIX System V Release 4.  I
  14. have tried compiling using the System V makefiles and the BSD ones wiithout
  15. any joy.

  17. I haved ensured that /usr/ucb is after /usr/bin in my PATH and that I am
  18. including the BSD libraries where necessary.

  20. Can anyone shed any light on where I am going wrong or anything that I can do
  21. to get it to work.

  28. PS. This is the first installation of gcc on site so cannot use gcc itself to
  29. compile the new release.
