  10. The gcc manual states :

  12.         On the Sparc, GNU CC uses an incompatible calling convention for
  13.         structures.  It passes them by including their contents in the argument
  14.         list, whereas the standard compiler passes them effectively by
  15.         reference.
  16.         This really ought to be fixed, but such calling conventions are not yet
  17.         supported in GNU CC, so it isn't straightforward to fix it.

  19.         The convention for structure returning is also incompatible, and
  20.         `-fpcc-struct-return' does not help.

  24. release. could some kind soul at FSF respond ?
