  14. I have attempted to compile gcc-2.2.2 with the following problem:

  16. Machine: AT 486/33
  17. O/S Esix 4.04
  18. Configure option:  configure --i386-*-sysv4
  19.  
  20. Compilation option: make LANGUAGES=c
  21.  
  22. This was the first compile obviously, the following error message was
  23. received:
  24.  
  25. ./cpp: enquire.c no such file or directory
  26.  
  27. I unpack the tar file again and check at each step to see that
  28. this file did in fact exist.  Somewhere in the makefile it is being
  29. rm-ed.  Hacking this size makefile is a bit much for me without some
  30. direction.
