  12. 1) Is there a way to specify two or more files when invoking gnuemacs,
  13. with each file ending up in its own window?

  15. 2) Is there a way to make . refer to the directory where gnuemacs was 
  16. invoked instead of the default directory?

  18. 3) What is a simple way to change the default directory?  (This is 
  19. a real beginner's question; I know that I have to set the variable
  20. default-directory, but I don't know the syntax for binding this to a key.)
