  13. Have been following the thread about emacsclient and server and what
  14. I would like to know is "What are these things and how are they used?"
  15. I have used Info, looked in the printed manual, even grepped through
  16. the entire info directory in the distribution and there is no mention
  17. of these.  About the most I have been able to glean is from the source
  18. to both that says the following:

  26. Even this does not tell me much.  Do I need to worry about it at all
  27. since my Emacs works fine?  Is there some neat functionality or
  28. speedup I am missing?
