- Let me clarify what "multiple views" means. Marks are attribute tags
- that are attached to objects like newsgroups or articles. So a
- newsgroup might have an "unsubscribed" attribute or a "not-in-newsrc"
- attribute.

- A view is a particular way of presenting data, like the list of
- newsgroups. Perhaps you might want to see a simple list of just those
- groups that are marked as "new". Or maybe you want to see all groups
- tagged with symbols for their attributes.
