  13. Those ClariNet newsgroups with the control-H underlining technique have
  14. always grated on my nerves... Now, I know that someone has posted 
  15. solutions for emacs 18 which simply remove the control-H's and underscore
  16. characters from the buffer, but I'm planning on extending that to 
  17. turn on underlining for those characters so that the desired effect
  18. is actually achieved.

  20. So, as a start I need someone to please mail me the code which people
  21. have integrated into GNUS which gets rid of the underlining for emacs-18.
  22. Then I'll modify it to work with lemacs and add the underlining feature
  23. and re-post it. Of course, if someone has already done this then they
  24. are welcome to just give it to me!
