  22. different view."

  24. Also note, views do not have to be non-intersecting.  A newsgroup
  25. might appear in more than one view.

  27. Having multiple buffers means you can see more than one view at a
  28. time.  On a workstation with a windowing system, I might say, "What a
  29. pain to have to change a window's mode all the time, instead of just
  30. mousing over to another window."

  32. In any case, "single view with multiple modes" is a special case of
  33. "multiple views".  "multiple views" can easily implement "single
  34. view", but not vice versa.
