- I would like to convert X window dumps (as defined in XWDFile.h header,
- and produced by xwd) into Postscript files.
-
- I already have xpr, but it seems unable to generate any dithering
- when the dump comes from a non-monochrome device ; this gives
- very poor results with color or gray-scale window dumps.
-
- the program xwd2ps will handle color for you. you can always let the
- postscript printer handle the dithering into b/w from the color
- postscript output. last i saw it was on the usual X contrib
- distribution sites, including ftp.uu.net (which mirrors
- export.lcs.mit.edu).
