  11. I have been able to compile and install X11R5 PL12 successfully
  12. using Interactive SysV.3 (3.0). Everything works fine.

  14. However, after getting and installing the patches for the
  15. enhanced X386 server 1.2E 1.0.1 with public fixes 1 - 13,
  16. running twm on startup causes the server to crash and dump core.
  17. I've determined so far that the first call to XAllocNamedColor in
  18. twm is the point at which the problem occurs.

  20. Could this just be some configuration problem? Compiler problem?
  21. (gcc 2.1 was used, configured for POSIX). I'm hoping not to
  22. have to restore the unmodified version.
