- I have been able to compile and install X11R5 PL12 successfully
- using Interactive SysV.3 (3.0). Everything works fine.
-
- However, after getting and installing the patches for the
- enhanced X386 server 1.2E 1.0.1 with public fixes 1 - 13,
- running twm on startup causes the server to crash and dump core.
- I've determined so far that the first call to XAllocNamedColor in
- twm is the point at which the problem occurs.
-
- Could this just be some configuration problem? Compiler problem?
- (gcc 2.1 was used, configured for POSIX). I'm hoping not to
- have to restore the unmodified version.
-
- Advice?
-
- Thanks in advance
