  30. One slot, does 8 and 24 bit simultaneously, reasonably fast when working in
  31. 24-bit.  It's around $4k also.  The only reason we haven't tossed the 
  32. dozen or so RasterOps boards we have is that there is full SunVIEW (yeah, I
  33. know, I know) support for them, but there is only 8-bit SunVIEW support for 
  34. the VITec.

  39. Is this true?  I think the cg12 from Sun is 76Hz vertical refresh and will
  40. only work with a monitor that is able to sync to the slightly higher rate,
  41. but I'm pretty sure we've got a couple of those monitors here working on
  42. RasterOps boards just fine.  So maybe the Sun monitor will sync to the lower
  43. rate.  There is a high-resolution model of the RasterFlex 32 (1280x1024,
  44. perhaps higher vertical refresh also) which probably requires a special
  45. monitor.
