- As Motif 1.1 has it's own Xt library it is not "compatible
- programming-wise", as you must use it's Xt functions. However,
- I use X11R5 other libraries with it and it compiles fine.
- (I sometimes need the X11 R4 library too, but only on the DECs
- where my Xm library is built that way.)

- However, as my vague memory tells me, there is a Motif version
- that supports X11R5. Just read the FAQ.

- About the second question , I don't see why not. The window manager
- does'nt know how the program was built.....
