  23. As Motif 1.1 has it's own Xt library it is not "compatible  
  24. programming-wise", as you must use it's Xt functions. However,
  25. I use X11R5 other libraries with it and it compiles fine.
  26. (I sometimes need the X11 R4 library too, but only on the DECs 
  27. where my Xm library is built that way.)

  29. However, as my vague memory tells me, there is a Motif version
  30. that supports X11R5. Just read the FAQ.

  32. About the second question , I don't see why not. The window manager
  33. does'nt know how the program was built.....
