  11. I need to run an X11 release 3 client with an X11r4 server and
  12. wonder if anyone knows of any potential problems that this may
  13. cause ?

  15. The client was compiled under AIX 3.1 with motif 1.0 and X11r3, the 
  16. X11, Xt and Xm libraries were statically linked.

  18. The client will run under AIX 3.2 with motif 1.1 and X11r4 although these
  19. versions will not be picked up by the client as the X libraries were 
  20. bound statically.  The server will however be X11r4.
