  14. I hope to God this isn't the wrong forum, but I was hoping someone could
  15. give me some advice... I am stricken with the plight of full time summer
  16. school ( 5 courses!) and they leave me with lots of time at the
  17. university. To fill in this time, I have recently been fiddling with
  18. the x-windows systems. However, there are two problems:

  20. 1) there isn't much to play with
  21. 2) I try compiling my own stuff with imake and make, but the damn software
  22.    insists that it needs some widget class library?
  23.  
  24. I got alot of software from gatekeeper.net.com /pub/X11/contrib,
  25. but it seems that most of the stuff requires some widgetclass stuff.
  26. Not being much of an x-windows master, I am only adept enough to be
  27. able to modify the imakefile. Beyond that, I am hopeless...
  28.  
  29. My question is: Are there any good programs or games available out
  30. there that might keep me busy? I have seen xtrek, and it is quite good.
  31. Unfortunately, it's not quite so fun to play on your own and I've already
  32. gotten pretty bored with it. Any other ideas or suggestions? I'd appreciate
  33. all and any you might have.
